Mardi Gras After Party

Mac and I went to the annual Louisiana Alive Mardi Gras Kickoff Party last night at the Hilton downtown. You collect a lot of beads throughout the night, and no, you don't have to show anything for them. It's just in good fun. Every year we bring home a lot of beads and this year we decided let Dexter experience Mardi Gras with a little dress up after party. I couldn't get too many pics because he was trying to eat them off his neck... and Zelda's. LOL. Enjoy!

Shower Surprise

After a long day of romping in and eating the snow, crazy boy Dexter decided it was either time to take a shower or was playing hide and go seek with me because this is where I found him. Enjoy!

Ice Day

On Wednesday after the snow, our street was left with a thick layer of ice, so my boss said to work from home. I happily accepted his offer and worked from home in the comfort of my PJ's. The hardest part was deciding whether to work from the bed or the couch. What a dilemma! LOL. I snapped a few pics of Dex with my camera phone because he wouldn't leave my side. Enjoy!

My Dad - Ed Basham

My dad had an opportunity to play music with a country legend, Marty Raybon, singer of an old time group, Shenandoah. For those country fans you may be familiar with songs like, "Mama Knows", "Church on Cumberland Road", or "Two Dozen Roses". Here are some of the pictures from that day. My dad is the one in the purple shirt, and as most of you know, composed and sang the most beautiful song for us at our wedding. Thanks dad!

Wedding Teaser Video

Just received another update for our photographer. She is working hard on creating our beautiful coffee table book, which will probably end up being a dusty paperweight in the office/dogs room/guest room before I know it. Hope you enjoy! The best part of these photos are not of Mac and I, but of the children. A big thanks to all the kids that braved the hot weather and hung with the old folks all night. You all have a huge part of our hearts! Thank you for making our day complete!

Marty, Reese, William, Casey, Logan, Taylor, Kaylee, Daniel, and Jaron.
